Patricia Palicz is the Accountant at Helios Education Foundation. She is responsible for maintaining the financial records for multiple entities, monitoring and supporting the Foundation’s grants administration, participating in the development, modification and maintenance of annual budgets and assisting with the annual audit.
Prior to joining Helios Education Foundation, Ms. Palicz held several senior level Accounting positions including Controller at Kindred Healthcare and Senior Marketing Budget Analyst at Grand Canyon University where she focused on streamlining Accounting processes resulting in department as well as organization wide efficiencies.
In her many roles, she has supported and mentored Senior Management teams and Finance Committee members on various Accounting policies and procedures. As a team leader, she ensured effective communication throughout the organizations and implemented functional cross training within the Accounting departments.
Ms. Palicz graduated from the AACSB accredited Pace University’s Lubin School of Business in New York, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting – Public (CPA Program).
