Information Gathering and Use
Helios Education Foundation welcomes the public to visit its Web site, which visitors can browse without submitting any personal information online. However, visitors may choose to sign up to receive electronic news from the Foundation. Following registration on the site, Helios will provide electronic newsletters that it publishes from time to time. The information entered on our site is provided on a confidential basis to one or more third-party service providers that we engage to maintain contact databases and/or send messages on our behalf. Each electronic newsletter message that is sent provides the option to unsubscribe if the recipient desires. Additionally, users may enter their e-mail address on the Helios Education Foundation Website Home page to update information or unsubscribe.
Technology and Tracking
Helios Education Foundation uses Web software to track the number of visitors to the www.helios.org pages that are most often visited and the domains from which people visit the site. The data is then analyzed internally for trends, which help provide more useful information to visitors. It is used to help determine how to provide more useful information to visitors. No personal information is collected during the tracking process.

Information provided in the Impact Response Form goes directly to the Foundation Grants Administrator via e-mail. Information provided in the Impact Response Form is confidential and will not be shared with any parties outside the Foundation.

The Web site provides links to grantee Web sites and resources that may be useful to visitors. These links connect to sites operated by third parties with different privacy practices. By providing a link, Helios Education Foundation is not endorsing the content of the linked site or the entity that maintains it.
