Meet Helios-Black Leadership Network Scholar: Bryce Sims

Since joining the Black Leadership Network in 2023, I have benefited greatly in my educational journey. One significant impact was the Helios Black Leadership Network Scholarship and how it provided me with financial relief during my time at the University of South Florida. The scholarship allowed me to focus more on exceling in my courses and made me worry less about how I would afford tuition.

With the opportunity to not have to work while working towards my degree, I can focus solely on my education and extracurricular activities, such as campus clubs. I plan to further my education post a bachelor's degree and pursue a master's degree. With the help of BLN's professional development meetings and interactions with fellow BLN members, I will be better prepared for the future.
