Julie Norwood

Vice President, Grants and Project Management

Julie Norwood is Vice President, Grants and Project Management at Helios Education Foundation. She oversees the grants management team in Arizona and Florida which provides oversight and stewardship of more than 100 grants totaling $115 million. She is responsible for the implementation and project management of strategic community investment initiatives in both states. She works closely with grantees across the education continuum to provide collaborative planning and strategic advice.

She brings more than 15 years of experience working with foundations, government and nonprofits. Prior to joining Helios, Ms. Norwood was the Director of Donor Services at the University of Arizona Foundation where she designed and directed a comprehensive donor relations and stewardship department to promote University interaction with and recognition of donors at all levels. She also worked at the Council on Foundations in Washington, DC where she was a program coordinator for the Corporate Services and Communications teams.

Ms. Norwood holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan.
