Program Associate - Tampa Office
The successful candidate for our Program Associate position must have a deep commitment to the overall mission of the Foundation, its programs, and an approach consistent with the Foundation’s guiding values. This position will contribute to the Foundation’s goals by being a collaborative member of the Community Impact Center of Excellence. This includes assisting the Community Impact (CI) Vice Presidents and Director of Program Services across the education continuum. The position provides program development, project management and technical support as needed to increase the capacity of the program staff in conceptualizing, initiating, implementing and overseeing complex community investments. Duties of this position include assisting CI Vice Presidents in the development and management of strategic community investments, strategically planning, attending and documenting meetings including grantee site visits, responding to community inquiries, and preparing and maintaining program documents and files within the grants management software system. This position receives direction from the Director of Program Services. This position is located in the Tampa, Florida office.
Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in education, business, non-profit or related field along with five (5) years of related experience in a progressively responsible nonprofit or program development support position. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with project management, grant making skills and experience in an education-related field. This candidate will have the ability to provide support to the Community Impact team through collaboration, cooperation both internally and externally and through managing challenges; sorting through information, identifying relevancy and/ or interpreting meaning; possessing strong communication skills, both oral and written for multiple audiences and purposes; and familiarity with and a commitment to education and education issues.

Administrative Assistant - Phoenix Office
The successful candidate for our Administrative Assistant must have a deep commitment to the overall mission of the Foundation, its programs, and an approach consistent with the Foundation’s guiding values. This position contributes to the Foundation’s goals by providing multi-dimensional administrative and logistical support for the effective operation of the Community Impact (CI) Center of Excellence in the Phoenix office. The position will assist in prioritizing meetings, multiple projects, deadlines and tasks, manage multiple calendars and travel for the CI team. These duties may require the utmost discretion and may include items of a confidential nature. There will be regular interaction for this position with community leaders and partners, grantees, government officials, consultants, and staff (at all levels). In addition, this position may assist other administrative staff in general office duties and facilities requests as needed. This position receives direction from the Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer.
Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma, or G.E.D. with at least 4 years of progressively responsible administrative secretarial experience. Experience in a non-profit or grantmaking and/or education related organization is preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal and business communication (written and oral) skills.
