Helios Board Member, Vada O. Manager, Recognized by Savoy Magazine

Congratulations to Helios Education Foundation Board Member, Vada O. Manager, who was recently honored as one of Savoy Magazine's Power 300: 2017 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors.  Mr. Manager was recognized for both his corporate as well as philanthropic contributions.

Savoy’s fall issue features an index of 300 directors serving on the boards of publicly held companies. As the leading business magazine reporting on African American success and achievement, Savoy’s Most Influential Black Corporate Directors edition is the most comprehensive listing of African-American executives, influencers, and achievers contributing leadership to corporate boards.  

Vada O. Manager serves as President & CEO of the Manager Global Holdings, LLC,    a company comprised of diversified ownership interests in the professional services, hospitality and real estate sectors. Mr. Manager’s expertise in this area is derived from serving in senior capacities at both Levi Strauss & Co and Nike Inc. – the latter where he was a member of its valued Corporate Leadership Team. During his career, he also led a team to South to South Africa to assist in consulting with the newly-elected administration of President Nelson Mandela.

In addition to his role as a member of Helios Education Foundation’s Board of Directors, Mr. Manager is affiliated with several other national and global organizations including: The American Council on Germany and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Mr. Manager has periodically appeared as an expert commentator on ESPN, CNN, CNBC and other national communication channels.

Mr. Manager holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, and has performed research at the London School of Economics.
